Your role as the employer is to provide training and supervision to the apprentice while they work for you. You’ll need to provide a range of work to accommodate the requirements of the qualification, or be flexible for them to work elsewhere to achieve the units required. Depending on the qualification, block courses may be necessary so you’ll need to release your employee to attend these.
