Apprenticeships are about training on the job. Getting recognition for the skills and knowledge you gain every day while you’re in a paying job. You need to be working with an employer, ideally for a minimum of 3 months, before signing into an apprenticeship. You could be in an apprenticeship up to 4 years, but every qualification is different.
If you want to start an apprenticeship in any of the following industries, talk to us!
Motor, Collision Repair, Building, Roofing, Plumbing, Gas fitting, Drainlaying, Electrical, Scaffolding.
We can sign you into an apprenticeship or put in you touch with the relevant Industry Training Organisation (ITO) to get you enrolled. But first you need to be working with an employer (ideally for at least 3 months prior) as the Training Agreement that you sign is a three-way agreement between you (the apprentice), your employer and us (the training provider).
Once your enrolment forms are completed and processed, your apprenticeship can begin. Most apprenticeships contain a mixture of theory and practical work. Depending on what apprenticeship you choose you may be sent resource books to work through and either attend block courses or night classes, up to approximately four years duration.
As training managers you can call on us at any time if you have a query or get stuck on anything regarding your apprenticeship. We are here to help you make progress, keep your apprenticeship on track and see you through to completion.
